NEW FOR THE FALL- Stainless Steel Water Bottle:
ARA is pleased to announce a new fund raiser for Arlington Crew! We are now selling a 24oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle in 2 laser engraved designs. These water bottles are odor & stain resistant, non-leaching, and BPA free. Each gift boxed bottle is only $15. All proceeds will support the Arlington Rowing Association, Inc. general fund. Water bottles will be sold at the Boathouse, all ARA events, and by placing orders by contacting Terry Boniello (471-8920) tmboniello@aol.com.
NEW FOR THE FALL- Thanksgiving Raffle:
Arlington Crew is raffling a 20lb. QUATTRO’S FARM RAISED FRESH TURKEY and a THANKSGIVING DINNER FIXINGS BASKET to benefit the Arlington Rowing Association, Inc. general fund. The prize is valued at over $150. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. They will be sold at all ARA Fall events, at the Boathouse, and through Arlington Rowing Association members. The drawing will be held on Saturday, November 7th at Quattro’s Farm Store, Pleasant Valley, NY.
ARA Car Wash: CANCELED due to Inclement Weather forecast
Sunday, Sept 27th at Arthur S. May School on Raymond Ave.
The event will run from 9:45 AM – 3:15 PM. Athletes can sign up at practices. Varsity/JV athletes will work 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM and Novice will work Noon – 3:15 PM. Participating athletes will split the profits to help to defray their program fees. Monies will be credited to the rower’s account. Bring sponges and old towels if you have them. Gertrude Hawk Chocolate:
Gertrude Hawk Candy Bars: Variety boxes of Gertrude Hawk chocolate bars are available starting September 20th. Each box contains 48 bars. Money, $48 per box, will be collected upfront. We have created our own assortment this year; each bar is $1. A rower will be credited $21.60 per box (45% of the sale) to defray their program fees. This is a very successful fundraiser. Please note: 1. Chocolate can not be returned. A total of 100 boxes have been purchased. Chocolate is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Holiday Plant Sale:
This has been a great fund raiser with many repeat customers. Teachers love to buy these plants! Ordering will begin on September 20th. Money is collected at the time of the order. Order forms will be available at the practices and off the website. Orders can be returned to Mrs. Boniello, or the lock box at the Boathouse by Friday Oct. 16th. Participating athletes will be credited $5 per plant sold to help defray their program fees. Plant pick up will be Saturday, Dec. 5 th from 11 AM – 1:30PM at Sabellico’s.
