Congratulations to ARA’s First Annual Thanksgiving Raffle winners! Gordon and Cynthia Link, who are loyal patrons of Quattro’s Store, were thrilled to receive the Thanksgiving Feast.
The goodies included were:
- 20lb. Quattro’s Farm Raised Turkey
- $25 Adams Gift Certificate
- $25 Caffe Aurora Gift Certificate
- 2 Bottles of Wine
- Homemade Apple Pie
- Homemade Cranberry Sauces
- Fixings for Stuffing
- Apple Cider
ARA appreciates the generous support of all those who donated to the raffle: Quattro’s Poultry Farm; Migliorelli Farm; Adams, Kent Liquors (owned by the Ciancio Family); and the Boniello Family.
Last but not least, a special thanks to all those who sold tickets for our organization: Sue Finocchiaro and Robo’s Deli; Migliorelli Farm Stands; Quattro’s Farm Store; Karen Treglia; Carla Parrella, and Bridgette Pasquarella. Through their efforts, $725 was raised for ARA’s General Fund!

RUTGER’S WOMEN ROWER JUNIOR DAY
Rutgers Women’s Rowing is hosting a Junior Day on Saturday, December 5th, 2009. This event is by invitation only.

All Novice,
Yes the race is still on. I have been stuck at work for several days and I am just getting ready myself.
I plan to be there at 6 am tomorrow morning to make sure you guys are boated and up the course.
The weather will be bad. Be prepared for wet and cold conditions. The only thing that will cancel the races is lightening or extreme wind conditions.

INFORMATION and DIRECTIONS:
- The HEAD OF THE FISH REGATTA IS HELD AT LEE’S TRAILER PARK, SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY.
- For GPS, use Saratoga Rowing Association’s address (543 Union Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). Do not turn left into the SRA parking lot. Instead, cross over the bridge and make the first left into Lee’s Park.
- COACHES and COXSWAIN’s meeting is at 0630. ALL Coxswain’s are expected to be there.
- ALL NOVICE ROWERS must be at the shell carrier no later than 0630 to rig.
- ALL OTHER ROWERS are to be at the shell carrier no later than 1100.
- NO ROWERS ARE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE RACE SITE UNTIL OUR LAST RACE (1640 hours) IS COMPLETED AND ALL BOATS AND EQUIPMENT ARE LOADED ON THE TRAILER, AND THE AREA IS CLEANED UP.

The Fall 2009 Arlington Crew Season is coming to a close.
- There is MANDATORY BOATHOUSE CLEAN-UP on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25th at 0800. ALL ROWERS are expected to participate.
- Following the Boathouse Clean-Up, ARA will hold a COMPLIMENTARY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. ALL ROWERS and THEIR FAMILIES are invited.

ALL ROWERS: Friday 10/16 be at the Charles at the Vassar Trailer No Later Than 1400 hours for rigging and practice.
