RACE INFO:

  • MONDAY MAY 3 – HVRL DUTCHESS DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPS (Pok, NY) – Varsity and JV participate.
  • SATURDAY MAY 8 & SUNDAY MAY 9 – NEW YORK SATE CHAMPIONSHIPS (Saratoga, NY)
    • HELD AT LEE’S TRAILER PARK, SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY.
      • For GPS, use Saratoga Rowing Association’s address (543 Union Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). Do not turn left into the SRA parking lot. Instead, cross over the bridge and make the first left into Lee’s Park.

  • FRIDAY MAY 14 & SATURDAY MAY 15 – STOTESBURY REGATTA (Philadelphia, Pa)
    • Held on the Schuylkill River.

      NOTE: By Association Rules, athletes (rowers and coxswains) are forbidden to drive themselves to and from races. Any one violating this rule will be dismissed from the team.

      • SATURDAY SEPT. 26 – TAIL OF THE FISH (Saratoga, NY) Varsity and JV participate
      • SUNDAY OCT. 04 – POUGHKEEPSIE REGATTA (Pok, NY) Varsity and JV participate, Freshman/Novice participation dependent on their skill and physical conditioning levels.
      • SATURDAY OCT. 10 -  HEAD OF THE HOUSATONIC, (Derby, CT) Varsity and JV participate
      • OCTOBER 16, 17 & 18 – HEAD of the CHARLES (Boston, MA)
      • Oct. 24 (Juniors) – Head of the Fish (Saratoga, NY) Varsity and JV participate, Freshman/Novice participation dependent on their skill and physical conditioning levels.

        • The HEAD OF THE FISH REGATTA IS HELD AT LEE’S TRAILER PARK, SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY.

        • COACHES and COXSWAIN’s meeting is at 0630. ALL Coxswain’s are expected to be there.
        • ALL NOVICE ROWERS must be at the shell carrier no later than 0630 to rig.
        • ALL OTHER ROWERS are to be at the shell carrier no later than 1100.
        • NO ROWERS ARE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE RACE SITE UNTIL OUR LAST RACE (1640 hours) IS COMPLETED AND ALL BOATS AND EQUIPMENT ARE LOADED ON THE TRAILER, AND THE AREA IS CLEANED UP.
