Instructions for Completing On-line Waivers

NOTES:

  1. For Fall 2010 Head of the Charles, the RONIN waiver must be completed by September 10th.
  2. Rowers new to Arlington Crew, need to complete both waivers.
  3. For any rower UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE, the waiver process MUST be completed by their parent or guardian.


For Regatta Central (US Rowing Waivers)(updated 03/08/2010):

  1. Sign in to the Regatta Central athletes portal at www.regattacentral.com/athletes
  2. On the “Athlete Portal” screen, enter roster code JA-936710 and YOUR LAST NAME. Then click on the “Begin” button.
  3. On the next screen, click on your name.
    a. If your name does not appear or a screen appears stating “No athlete records were found with the last name provided”, click on the word “here” in the sentence “click here to proceed” and follow step 4

  4. The next screen asks if you are a current or former member of US Rowing. Click on the “NO” button and then click on the “next” button (You will not see this screen if you are a USRA member and have previously entered your membership number.)
  5. On the next screen fill in all of the requested information. Read the waiver information and then click on the “Accept and Submit Waiver” button if in agreement with the waiver.
  6. The next screen will display your newly assigned USRA number and indicate that you have submitted your waiver. Print this page. PRINT YOUR NAME ON IT in the box that says “Your annual waiver has been submitted!”. Give it to Coach Stasaitis at your next practice.


For RONIN (Universal Rowing Waiver) (updated 09-07-10):

  1. Go to www.signyourwaiver.com/startwaiver.html and choose the appropriate “junior” category (male or female).
  2. Fill in the appropriate information on the next screen and click continue.
    • For “Affiliation” choose “Arlington Rowing Association”
    • For Coach/team representatives e-mail enter PASTASAITIS@GMAIL.COM
    • For Coach’s name enter “Paul A. Stasaitis” click continue.
  3. Fill in Parent/Guardian information, if required. Note:RONIN requires an entry for “Cell Phone”. Regatta directors request the cell phone number of a parent because if the rower has a health problem at the race, the directors will have the most immediate contact numbers. If you are uncomfortable supplying them with your cell number, enter your home phone in both locations. Arlington Crew refers to our own paperwork to find emergency contacts for our athletes.
  4. On the “Universal Rowing Waiver” page, go to the bottom. Read the waiver information and if in agreement, check the “I have read this agreement” box . Click “continue” and your waiver will be filed.
